The League of Women Voters of Los Angeles offers training on how to facilitate difficult community meetings. The League has a nearly 100 year track record of facilitating various types of community discussions. We are offering our well-tested techniques tailored for kinds of conversations neighborhoods are having about housing and homelessness.
The training includes

Discussion guidance around housing and homelessness
Guidelines for regaining control of meetings and handling difficult situations
Scenario-driven learning designed for Neighborhood Councils and similar public meeting styles
The training equips attendees with all the tools they need to lay the foundation for holding productive, civil community meetings.
